Lansing Makers Network has seen a big surge in growth and support over the past couple of years and to better help our growing community, we are seeking new board members. If you’re excited about art, crafting, tech, tools, education, or bringing diverse people, experiences, and ideas together in a safe makerspace, please let us know you’re interested in helping out.

  • Time to attend meetings and volunteer when needed

As a board member, you’ll be expected to contribute in the following ways:

  • Attend monthly board meetings, special board meetings, and committee meetings that you have joined
  • Develop policies and initiatives using your experience and skills
  • Promote Lansing Makers Network and attract financial support through your personal network and connections
  • Volunteer when available at programs, events, and activities

Apply today!

If you are interested in serving on our Board of Directors for a three-year term, or if you have any questions, please complete and submit our Board Member Application to share your interest and experience. Once we receive your application, we’ll review it, answer questions you may have, and let you know what happens next.

If you’d like to contribute but a board position doesn’t feel right, we’re always looking for volunteers! We wouldn’t exist without volunteers — they literally make the makerspace — and whatever your skill level, there are ways to get involved.
